Rules for the Art contest:

1 - It must be original, no tracing, and no stealing other people's work.  If you are caught stealing other work and entering it, (which I have ways of finding out....) your submission will be deleted and you will be banned from entering work onto my site in the future.

2 - I will not accept nudity, or sexually related topics, though something like a scene of Arwen and Aragorn (or other characters) kissing is ok, as long as you keep it simple and clean.  After all, there's nothing wrong with a little kiss now and then...

3 - Though violence is a big part of Lord of the Rings, especially in battle scenes, try to keep it to a minimum, but otherwise, it's acceptable as long as I approve it for submission.

4 - Although photomanipulation is an art and you can submit it under "Digital", please remember that I will judge according to the originality of the submitted work, so do not be dissappointed if I choose something done from scratch instead of a masterpiece elegantly done with bits and pieces of photos and various art.

5 - To be sure you have read these rules through, on the line in the form that says "You have my...", write "sword".  This will change with each round, so be sure to read the rules over again.

6 - Concerning photo-manipulation: Be sure that you have permission or that you use stock photos, or your on photos, only, for your submitted work.

7 - Last but not least: Have fun, and good luck!  I'm looking forward to all this.

Please mention if any of these were done with referance pictures, or by imagination or memory.  It makes a difference in judging.  When you send your submission, it may be in the form of a file, or a link to a photobucket account or perhaps even a DeviantART account.  High quality is encouraged, so as to offer the best details possible for judging purposes.  Your submissions, during the time of judging, will be placed on the page for the link above.  Please only submit at the most, five pieces of art during this round, and you cannot submit more than one on each category.
